Kristin Fischer will join CNN as its Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. She is a reporter covering everything from NASA, Space Force, Space Force and commercial space businesses to the rise of space tourism. Being the child of two NASA astronauts Kristin has a background in the space industry and was a part of the space industry for five years, reporting on the Biden and Trump Space Policy of the Administration as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. During that time, she also covered two presidential impeachment trials and the presdiential 2020 campaign, and two administration's attempts to control the coronavirus pandemic. Kristin traveled extensively, including both the president and vice president. She even went on an extremely secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Kristin has spent more than an entire decade working in the TV industry.
